LESSONS

Why music lessons are important:

  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Learning a musical instrument increases a student’s brain activity connecting the hands, fingers and eyes to perform at accurate speeds.

  • Teamwork: students learn to collaborate, listen and respect one another in order to create beautiful music in a group setting.

  • Self-esteem: Builds confidence amongst the students, which decreases the likelihood of severe depression and anxiety related issues.

  • Memory Processing: students exercise the importance of memory retention, which is important in everyday living.

  • Problem Solving Skills: A student will have the ability to diagnose and fix certain musical problems. They will also comprehend and interpret other musical ideas and styles.

  • Higher Academic Results: Students in music lessons perform significantly higher in other academic disciplines.

  • Self-discipline: Hard work and patience is a must for any music lesson student. It helps prepare them for rigorous tasks given from the real world of music and other career paths.
